Someone once said that the greatness of a community is measured by the compassionate actions of its people. That is exactly what happened in the community of Mainstreet Libertyville. Their community has been known in helping small businesses, especially the downtown Libertyville restaurants.
How does the Small Business Relief Raffle works?
This is a relief effort organized by Mainstreet Libertyville to benefit local downtown businesses that were affected by the government-mandated closures. Participating businesses such as retailers, salons and restaurants contributed $300 in gift cards to create a BIG prize for the lucky winner.
Mainstreet Libertyville will donate the proceeds (less the expenses) pro-rata to each participating business. The raffle ticket costs $10. Six (6) winners will be awarded $2,650 in gift cards which are redeemable beginning January 1, 2021.
A link was being shared in the respective fan pages of the participating restaurants. Community members’ purchases are tracked and the winning raffle ticket number will be drawn on the fourth of July.
